These ambitious plans are necessary to have in NJ for several reasons.
No one likes overdevelopment and in the most densely populated state it can be an issue. Conservation of land limits more development in the state and may decrease traffic and such in some parts. The benefit of this is of course being able to see a pleasant display of land instead of another business office or parking lot.
With all the development and such, a lot of habitats are destroyed when you conserve land it provides a place for natural habitats that can support a diverse wildlife to take place, ultimately bettering our lives.
Land conservation also provides us such things as clean air and water,which is important obviously for our health.
